Squaw Valley

Another great ski area is Squaw valley. It is both a great ski area and a fun day for all people. The village is a fun palce to go even if you do not like to ski. All in all it is a very cool and fun place to spend a day.

The Lake Run

The lake run is a technical non groomed run that takes you from the back of Sugar Bowl to Donner Lake. The run is all powder and all fun. The first time you do the run you should go with a guide, so you do not ketch your self in a dangerous situation that could threaten your life. This run is not for the inexperienced it is all back country no groomed trails. If you have the skill and the time its a great run that you will have a blast.

Northstar

Another really fun and great ski area in Truckee is Northstar. It is a big mountain and has every run for every diferent ski level. It has an excellent park. Also it is great because you have the village where you can shop and get great food. Northstar also has great powder runs that are dificult but fun. Northstar is one of the greatest ski areas in truckee if you take into consideration all the restraunts and great mountain to ski.

Great Powder Days in Truckee

In Truckee we have some grteat powder days. Its light and fluffy and fun to ski in. You can enjoy the pow at ski areas and in our own backyards. Truckee has great ski areas and hills to create your own jumps and ski areas. My friends made a jump in thier backyard and it showcases Truckee's great powder. Every one loves powder, it is one of gods great gifts.

Borreal

Boreal is a very good ski are for trick skiers and other skiers alike. It is somewhat small but it is a great and easy place to go. It is on the top of the summit about twenty minutes from dowtown Truckee. Boreal has a very nice park tha has jumps and rails and boxes for all levels. One of the coolest parts of Borreal is thier night skiing. You can ski at Boreal from nine in the mornning to nine at night. Skiing in the dark is a cool experience and feeling. There are lights butg they do not cover every run. Boreal is also good for students of truckee because no black out passes are extremely cheep compared to any other resort. All in all it is a good ski area for a quick fix.
